Amazing engineering: SKY POOL

SKY-HIGH GLASS BOTTOMED CANTILEVER POOL 

Located at the Holiday Inn in Shanghai, China (Pudong Kangquiao), this dramatic swimming pool 24 floors up has a glass bottom that overlooks the street below. The cantilever pool is 30 meters long (98.5 ft) with a comfortable section of the pool that remains inside the building for those that prefer to not venture into the overhanging area.

A spillway is a structure used to provide the controlled release of flows from a dam or levee into a downstream area, typically being the river that was dammed.  Spillways release floods so that the water does not overtop and damage or even destroy the dam. Except during flood periods, water does not normally flow over a spillway.
